Welcome to the Dominion House Journal
This journal is meant to be a place for Canadian political discourse. Anyone who has an interest in Canadian politics is encouraged to participate by commenting on articles or by presenting articles to the In-House Authors for possible publication. More information on how to have your articles published by our staff is available on the Submissions page above.
The slogan for this journal is ‘Grand ideas for a grand nation’. This simple slogan sums up the purpose of this whole body of discourse. The Dominion of Canada is a wonderful place to live. However, like every nation in the world we have complex problems – many of which continue to go unnoticed by policy makers – which is why it is imperative that Canadians participate in political discourse. Many people are indifferent to the current political landscape in Canada but that should never keep a person from expressing their own personal beliefs or opinions. This is a place to do that, as well as a place to present problems and offer solutions which others can refine through discussion.
